Pastor William Lockhart, Jr. has been serving in ministry for 27 years by the grace of God. Over the years, he has experienced both triumphs and trials that have deepened his understanding of God’s transformative love. In addition to the lessons learned through life experience, Pastor Will is a graduate of Kutztown University, holding a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice. He also earned a Master of Science in Administration of Justice from Shippensburg University. After more than 15 years working in the social services field, he responded to God’s call to return to full-time ministry—a decision rooted in faith, despite uncertainty. Trusting that God could use him, imperfections and all, he took a leap of faith.
Upon reentering ministry, Pastor Will pursued further theological education, earning a Master of Arts in Ministry from Lancaster Bible College/Capital Seminary. This journey deepened his love for Scripture and strengthened his passion for sharing the life-changing message of the Gospel with all people. Pastor Will and his family find joy in serving God both together and in their individual callings. Known for his warm personality and sense of humor, he often jokes about being a “smoke’n pastor”—not just in spirit, but in the kitchen, where he enjoys smoking ribs, chicken, pork, brisket, and whipping up peach cobbler and mac & cheese.
